I saw this movie when I was a kid like around 2010s, the plot was that the main character and the drug lord use the same type of crate where the MCs dad's medicine is being transported, which the trafficker confuses for his drugs and chases him through the city. Anybody have any ideas?
Hi, Iām Hindu and interested in learning more about Buddhism and meditation.
Iāve been to Thailand before, and am looking for a 1-2 week meditation retreat. I am familiar with Vipassana, and would love to do something like thatā¦unfortunately, I run a business based in India and cannot _fully_ disconnect for 10 days. I can āpartiallyā disconnect and greatly reduce my work load though, but will for sure need to use my phone and laptop for about an hour or two a day (can be at any time of the day)
I know Dhammakaya offers week-long retreats where you meditate for several hours a day and then have āfree timeā, and they donāt take your electronics unlike Vipassana, but I am also well aware that Dhammakaya is a cult lol. Itās also a bit expensive, but I would indeed be willing to pay that price for something good and worthwhile.
Can anyone recommend a 1-2 week meditation retreat where they donāt take your phone/laptop away? Can be paid, I donāt mind. Iām willing to commit to everything, the early hours, the two meals, the abstinence, just need an hour or two a day where I can use my phone and laptop. I know I might get downvoted because this is not necessarily within the spirit of a retreat, but itās better than nothing. I just want to learn about Buddhism and meditate for like 8 hours a day for a week or so.

I got conned into thinking my step dad was actually helping me out by snagging me a rental for cheaper monthly rent if he fixed it up for free because he knows the landlord. Well I knew never to trust this man but I was desperate to rent a home and not an apartment and it is really charming and in a great location for the price minus one crucial factor: the floors. I noticed a lot of termite damage that he and landlord said was old and there hasnāt been any termites since. And with these old floors thereās decades worth of filth and wax in there that theyāre downright grimey and impossible to clean yet people say āthatās an old house for you! I digress. Anyways, I begged the landlord to please have someone come in to see if itās termites and he finally agreed. So today pest control came and neither confirmed nor denied there was active termites because he didnāt see any āflyingā. And he only noticed āsomeā droppings when I showed him the piles. Thereās also carpenter ant infestation . So the reason why Iām so desperate for someone to help fix this is bc just in the 2 months Iāve lived here Iāve noticed especially in the past few days, more oblong type holes in the floor that are so brittle that me and my dog have stepped on some and cracked it but even just pressing it will crack it. It seems like no one wants to take accountability to fix it. So I want yall to please view these pictures and try not to call me a dumdum bc Iāve never experienced termites in the 15 years Iāve rented elsewhere and havenāt lived in an house thatās 100 years old too. I threw a picture of the warped window pane bc could this be from some sort of insect or something else. But again it warped that way recently.
So knowing all of this what should I do to get this under control? Or can it be saved ? Or just general advice for me ?
Since im renting Iām mostly worried about my belongings and furniture than the foundation of the house. How much damage Should I expect if I decide to stay? Or should I move how can I pack them in cardboard boxes when the termites could chew through them? Will my things carry termites into new properties and ruin that place?
And lastly the kicker is I never signed a leaseā¦the landlord was away for months before he came back and I needed to address some issues with him before it was signed. But now I donāt wanna sign but I also do love this house. So Iām not sure what next steps should happen. But one thing for sure is Iām in Florida so termites arenāt included in rental insurance and I canāt be reimbursed for ruined stuff.

Iām not very good with tech and Iām trying to make a shortcut that reads text from a Google doc to me. It has my daily goals (canāt have it on something else cause friend and I hold each other accountable with goals using this method) and Iām trying to get it to read them to me at a specific time each day (when Iām first waking up itās easier if I listen to the goals instead of reading them).
I figured out how to get shortcuts to open the specific Google docs file, but beyond that Iām struggling. Is there a way to do this or am I just trying something that is impossible?

Got tired of gelx tips with no apex...also been having trouble with past clients saying xl tips snap in half .. I tried using builder gel and they are definitely more thicker and harder, hopefully this works! Anyone has had this problem? Drop you tips š«¶š»š
I use several timers at different amounts for various purposes. During the day today, I've noticed that sometimes, after I use them and stop the alarm, they disappear and I have to remake them when I want to use them again. It doesn't happen every time and I haven't noticed any pattern to when it happens and when it doesn't.
A friend told me that the same has been happening to him today.
Any idea what's going on?
